What You Need to Know |
|
|
|
1. Each RiderCourse student will need to bring the following to class:
|
- Your own ATV (unless other arrangements have been made with the Instructor)
- A helmet that is DOT compliant (unless other arrangements have been made with the Instructor)
- Goggles or a face shield (glasses/sunglasses are not sufficient)
- Gloves
- Long sleeved shirt and pants
- Over-the-ankle boots
- The owner's manual for your ATV
- Light snack and soft drink (optional)

2. ALWAYS Follow the Manufacturer's Minimum Age Recommendation Warning Label on the ATV:

You may be eligible for free training and incentives if you purchased a new ATV.
If you are paying for your ATV training, some states provide substantial training subsidies
to reduce the cost of enrollment.
The standard cost of attending a training class is $150 for adults and $55 for children
ages 15 and younger.
